The covid 19 pandemic has temporarily changed our laboratory activity, but the research does not stop and we continue to work to return to the bench full of motivation!
The partners have sent their contributions to the Project Coordinator for the drafting of the Project Progress Report. The first year of activity has ended successfully!
Highlights:
- development and set- up of parameters and experimental conditions of deposition with three techniques, Ionized jet deposition (IJD), Electrodeposition (ED), Magnetron Sputtering (MS)
- testing and physico-chemical characterizations of different combination between silver/hydroxyapatite or silver/biogenic apatite
- preliminary tests about anti-biofilm activity of silver against different bacterial strains (Coli NCTC12923, S. Aureus ATCC29213 and S. Aureus 86)
- up- date and upgrade of software tools for this 3D reconstruction and 3D models realization
